SWAE's origin and continued operations have them in one of the most adventurous places in the world, wild Montana. A bucket list location for anyone infected with wanderlust. The mountains that dominate travel blog feeds, rest quietly out their windows. So it's no surprise that they frequent those hills and forests like a local park or your own backyard. This is about a trip up one of those nearby peaks, Desert Mountain.

Resting high above a sprawling valley sits Desert Mountain. Looking down from this mighty peak all four directions are engulfed in wild scenery. To the south lies an endless expanse of forests and mountains known as the Bob Marshall Wilderness area. The 5th largest in the lower 48 States, and a backpacker's dream. To its north lies Glacier National Park and the Jewel Basin. The members of SWAE took the day to breathe in the fresh air and breathtaking scenery on a beautiful clear fall morning. The soft crackle of the fire and a few laughs kept the team warm. The pursuit culminated in a memory. This is how they chased their dreams, how do you chase yours?
